Go north for 3.1 miles to a turnout on the right side of the roadway where the road drops down to the water and there are no trees between the road and the water.

This site is included in Russel Helsley’s guide - Great Dive Sites of Washington's Inland Waters The trail down to the water is legendary. Park at turnout along road, then take the steep climb down tree roots to get to beach, where you get access to the drop-off on the left and the pier wreckage on the right. Surface swim to the left to find the wall. Alderwood Manor’s first general store, the superintendent’s cottage and water tower from the 1917 Demonstration Farm, the park site’s original residence, and Interurban Car 55 are gathered together in a village-like setting. The Wickers Building houses the South Snohomish County Visitor Information Center and an exhibit of the history of the Interurban Railway, a photo gallery and donated artifacts relevant to the old store. Exhibits on the second floor tell the story of Alderwood Manor’s first general store and the family who lived in the building. Interurban Car 55 is the centerpiece of Heritage Park.
