Quilt Block: ’Frances’s Dream’ (Frances chose this quilt block because it reminder her of a dream she once had.)

The original farm was a dairy farm and dude ranch. The old barn collapsed under the weight of the heavy snows the winter of 1995-96. The large hooped structure, built in 1998 is a riding arena and hay storage.
The farm has many uses over the years and most recently David and Frances have raised Paso Fino Horses here. ’Paso Fino’ means ‘fine-step’. and was the first horse brought over to the new world on Christopher Columbus’s second voyage to the new world. They original was of Spanish origin, derived from Barb, Andulusian and the now extinct Spanish Jennet breeds.
