Quilt Block: Grandmother’s Fan (Best viewed from 5th Ave.)
This quilt block is a replica of a quilt made by John Clymer’s aunt between 1925-1935. Barn Quilt sponsored by Edna Madson.
Building History: The building was built in 1901 by the Ramsay family as a hardware store, Wagons and other farm equipment were repaired here. The horse drawn wagons would be brought to the back and lifted by a pulley to the second floor of the building where they were repaired.
The building currently contains a collection of art by the well-known artist, John Clymer. It also features an art gallery of rotating exhibits.
