Available on the Third Thursday of Every Month As part of Tacoma’s monthly ArtWalk, Tacoma Art Museum offers extended hours and provides free admission for all visitors from 5 pm–8 pm.
Most of downtown Tacoma’s major museums offer Free Third Thursday admission. These museums form an impressive and distinct district showcasing some of the world's best collections and unique artwork. Discover creative culture, exquisite glass, timeless history, classic automobiles, family fun and maritime heritage in Tacoma’s Museum District.
Just west and up the hill a block, you’ll find the Visitor Information Center on Commerce and 15th in the Commerce level of the Tacoma Convention Center.
