The Northwest Carriage Museum, located near the intersection of highways 101 and 6 in Raymond, boasts a Smithsonian-worthy collection of 15 impeccably restored horse-drawn carriages, wagons and sleighs, all dating from the 1800s. A standout is Shelburne Landau buggy driven by Belle Watling in the movie classic Gone with the Wind -- Great hands-on children’s area!
Adjacent attractions are the Willapa Seaport Museum and Public Market. Nearby stops include the 1926 Raymond Theater and steel sculptures of the Wildlife-Heritage Sculpture Corridor. In neighboring South Bend, visit the 1920 North County Courthouse and the Pacific County Historical Society Museum.
