Located on the SW tip of Point Roberts, the Lighthouse Park offers a peacefull setting, and spectacular water views south and west of the Straits of Georgia. No real lighthouse, but a nice park on flat beach with lots of driftwood – great walking beach.
Come to this unique part of the WA coastline and visit the Orca Center on the boardwalk which has interpretive exhibits. The 21 acre park has come to be known as one of the best places to view orcas from land in the area, especially in the summer months when any of the 3 local pods pass by often.
If you decide to stay overnight at Lighthouse Marine Park, there are 30 standard campsites, each with a fire pit, picnic table, and parking.
