Ways that churches could use Yodio:

Go into all the earth.....

Yodio has the opportunity be part of the sharing of good information, great experiences and God-given words by people who otherwise might not have the means or knowledge to share. No recording equipment (although you can absolutely upload recordings done on a computer or other microphones) – you can call into an (800) number and share. It’s in your Yodio account in seconds. 5 minutes later, your recording is uploaded for anyone in the world to hear. Yodio has the opportunity to be a place that has spiritual value.

PASTORS

• Pastors – (other other bible teachers) Upload sermons (as one track YodioCasts)
• Pastors - Using the free YodioCard(under 1 minute) to send weekly or even daily messages to all who sign up for your mailing list on your website, myspace or at youth church. You could impart short words every day.
• Pastors – send weekly encouragement YodioCards to their staff or ministry volunteers. (free for listeners)

YOUTH MINISTRY

• Youth Ministry - Create packages of mini sermons or blurbs, “3-5 minute bus stop devotionals”, “5-10 minute School bus talk”, even “ 2-3 minute “where’s mom” insights (while waiting to be picked up from sports practice)
• Sermons - Upload previously recorded sermons, or each week’s sermons (you can price them so that listeners pay a small amount and author receives royalties, or distribute for free with sponsorship)
• Church leadership – recording how-to guides for other church leaders around the world to listen to (for sale) ie: “things to consider when planning a vacation bible school”, or “things to consider to protect your church from predators”, or “good, bad and the ugly when bringing youth groups to all-nighters (ok, we had to throw that one in :o)
• MySpace - Embed Yodios in youth ministry's MySpace account - audio profile greetings and teachings/inspirations.

WEBSITES

• Youth ministry Webmasters - Using the free YodioCard, and copy and paste the embed link into your website and have all of the youth staff/leaders record a message about their vision for our youth.
• Church websites – invite visitors to record their testimonies (in their own account) and send it to a specified email address. The email would say xxxxx has sent you a Yodiocard. Copy the link and paste it into the testimony site and call it “sarah’s testimony about camp”
• Youth or Master's Commission's website – embed a link to an audio message of what it’s all about.
• Church websites – each area of a website could have Yodio’s audio embedded into it. You can hear audio greetings from the singles leader, the marriage leaders, the music leaders, etc.

MASTER'S COMMISSION/INTERNS

• Master's Commission – students recording their sermons, not only for practice, but why not publish it for the world to hear at the same time?
• Master's Commission/Bible College students – recording chapters of the bible to playback to help them memorize them.
• Master's Commission leadership – recording inspirational messages for their students. Send weekly inspirations for the youth that are going on mission trips or camp.

OTHER

• Women’s Leaders/teachers - Create packages of mini sermons for women while working out. “Treadmill Devotions” where each track (“discussion” etc) lasts about as long as an average treadmill or bicycle workout.
• Music ministry – 5 part series on “creating a dynamic worship ministry”
• Any ministry – any type of devotional type teaching. Also telling stories from scriptures. Some people are great story tellers - and many people out there would enjoy hearing them tell bible stories in their own words.
